Earlier today, reports surfaced that Kosta Kondic has signed with Dubai, and Basketball Sphere has confirmed this through reliable sources.
After establishing himself as one of the leaders of a young team that has been delivering fantastic performances this season under the guidance of talented Serbian coach Marko Barac, Kosta Kondic has inked a deal with the ABA League debutants.
However, he will continue to play for Mega as a loaned player until the end of the season, joining the UAE-based club for the 2025/2026 campaign.
This season, Kondic averages 27 minutes per game, recording 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2 assists. He shoots 39.3% from the field and an impressive 38% from beyond the arc. Mega currently has an 8-6 record and is in excellent form, with only one loss in their last five games. Kondic’s best performance of the season came against FMP, where he scored 20 points, while he also tallied 19 points in three other games (against Split, Cedevita Olimpija, and Borac Cacak).
Born in Banja Luka, Kondic previously played for Igokea and Borac Banja Luka as a loaned player. During the 2021/22 season, he averaged 14.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championship while representing Borac Banja Luka.
He also competed for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s junior national team at the 2020 European Championship.
