Kyle Allman was the first name that appeared in connection with Partizan’s summer plans, but despite reaching an agreement with the Serbian club, his official arrival remains uncertain.
Basketball Sphere has learned that Partizan already reached a deal with the American guard, but changes in the club’s plans during the offseason have opened the possibility that Allman may never play a single game in the black-and-white jersey.
The situation has developed after Partizan made several unexpected moves on the market and continued searching for additional solutions in the backcourt.
Basketball Sphere reveals what changed in Kyle Allman’s situation
The offseason initially followed a clear pattern.
Kyle Allman was the first name linked with Partizan, followed by Nikola Tanaskovic, Kevarrius Hayes and Derek Willis. At one point, all of those moves were considered practically completed.
However, while Tanaskovic, Hayes and Willis were officially announced by the club, Allman remains the only player from that group who has not been presented.
Since then, Partizan have changed their roster plans and added more players, including Alessandro Pajola, Lamar Stevens and Luca Vildoza, while continuing to monitor the market for another high-level guard.
According to information obtained by Basketball Sphere, Partizan’s agreement with Allman remains part of the story, but the club now has different options compared to the moment when the deal was initially reached.
The Serbian powerhouse could eventually decide to pay a buyout and end the agreement, meaning Allman would not play a single minute for Partizan.
A final decision has not been made yet.
If Partizan fail to complete another signing in the guard rotation, the most logical scenario would be for Allman to officially join the team.
Partizan continue searching for backcourt options
During the previous days, several names appeared as possible targets for Partizan.
Lonnie Walker was reportedly offered to the club, while Partizan had also shown interest in Kosta Kondic during the previous season.
However, Dubai decided to keep Kondic as part of their project, while Walker remains available on the free-agent market.
The final outcome of Allman’s situation will likely depend on whether Partizan manage to complete another major move before the beginning of the 2026/27 season.
Final decision on Kyle Allman expected soon
Kyle Allman remains one of the most interesting unresolved situations around Partizan this summer.
The agreement exists, but the club’s plans have changed significantly since the initial deal was reached.
As Basketball Sphere exclusively reveals, Partizan now have to decide whether Allman will become part of Joan Penarroya’s roster or whether they will move in another direction before the new season begins.
