Kyrie Irving, the Dallas Mavericks superstar, is expected to lead the team into the upcoming season, as the franchise has reportedly turned down multiple trade inquiries involving the veteran guard.
According to NBA insider Evan Sidery, several NBA teams contacted the Dallas Mavericks to explore the possibility of acquiring Kyrie Irving.
The same source reports that the Mavericks rejected every single offer, making it clear they have no intention of parting ways with the nine-time NBA All-Star.
Instead, the franchise plans to keep Irving and make him, alongside Cooper Flagg, the centerpiece of its offense for the upcoming season.
The Mavericks had multiple teams reach out this summer about Kyrie Irving, but they showed zero interest in trade proposals.

Dallas Mavericks have a clear plan
The organization has no intention of moving the veteran point guard, who signed a three-year, 119 million dollars contract last year.
Although Irving missed nearly the entire previous season after suffering a torn ACL and undergoing surgery, the Mavericks remain fully committed to building the team around him going forward.
New Dallas Mavericks head coach Dusty May reportedly intends to construct the team around the duo of Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg.
Pairing Irving with Cooper Flagg, a modern NBA forward who combines elite physical tools, high basketball IQ, and the ability to impact every aspect of the game, gives the Mavericks reason to believe they can be a legitimate contender in the upcoming season.
