LeBron James has decided to leave the Los Angeles Lakers this summer, but it appears it may be some time before his next destination becomes known.
As the biggest name still available on the free-agent market, LeBron James has been linked with several contenders in recent days, including the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers and, more recently, the Denver Nuggets.
However, according to his agent Rich Paul, the NBA world will have to wait a little longer for a final decision.

Speaking to Forbes, Rich Paul made it clear that no announcement is expected in the coming days.
“I don’t think this happens anytime soon. I don’t think it’ll be the next few days.”
According to Paul, this is the first time in James’ career that his decision is driven entirely by what he wants, without outside expectations or pressure.
“This is the first time he’s making a decision that is truly for him. There is no pressure. When he left Cleveland [in 2010 for Miami Heat], he had to win a ring. When he came back [in 2014], he had to deliver on the promise. This is at this stage where he can decide what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.”
Paul concluded by emphasizing that the timeline depends entirely on James, and that he will simply follow his client’s lead.
“I’m on his schedule. I can’t tell the man how fast to move. When he’s telling me what he’s deciding, that’s when I’ll let you guys know.”
