Luca Vildoza is officially a new Partizan player. The Argentine guard signed a two-year contract with the Serbian club after spending the 2025/26 EuroLeague season with Virtus.
Throughout his European journey, Luca Vildoza has played for Baskonia, Crvena Zvezda, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos and Virtus, while also earning NBA experience with the Milwaukee Bucks.
His arrival in Belgrade immediately created one of the most interesting storylines of the offseason, as Vildoza joins Partizan after previously wearing the jersey of Crvena Zvezda, the club’s biggest rival.

Luca Vildoza creates rare EuroLeague rivalry story
Luca Vildoza’s move to Partizan created a rare situation in European basketball.
The Argentine guard became the first player to represent all four clubs involved in some of Europe’s biggest basketball rivalries: Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
Vildoza will not be the first nor the last player to wear the jerseys of both Belgrade rivals, but his career path places him among the most unique examples in recent EuroLeague history.
When it comes to foreign players, only seven players previously represented both Crvena Zvezda and Partizan. The list includes Lawrence Roberts, Tarence Kinsey, Corey Walden, Mathias Lessort, Kevin Punter, Codi Miller-McIntyre and James Gist.
With his move to Partizan, Luca Vildoza became the eighth foreign player to have both Serbian giants on his resume.
From NBA experience to Crvena Zvezda success and EuroLeague title
Before becoming a Partizan player, Luca Vildoza already built a strong reputation across European basketball.
After leaving the NBA following his stint with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Argentine guard joined Crvena Zvezda and immediately became one of the most important players in the EuroLeague.
During the 2022/23 season, Vildoza was named EuroLeague MVP of the Month in December after an impressive stretch with the Serbian club.
In his first EuroLeague season with Crvena Zvezda, he averaged 12.6 points, 3.9 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 35% from three-point range, quickly establishing himself as one of the leaders of the team.
However, his form gradually declined after his outstanding start in Belgrade. Vildoza later moved to Panathinaikos, where he was part of the team that won the EuroLeague title in the 2023/24 season.
After his championship season in Athens, the Argentine guard joined Olympiacos before continuing his career with Virtus during the 2025/26 season.
Partizan reshapes roster with Vildoza as latest addition
Luca Vildoza arrives in Belgrade as part of a major roster transformation for Partizan ahead of the new season, with the club making several moves during the EuroLeague transactions period.
The club officially parted ways with several important players, including Duane Washington, Nick Calathes, Sterling Brown, Dylan Osetkowski, Isaac Bonga, Aleksa Radanov, Shake Milton, Bruno Fernando and Aleksej Pokusevski.
At the same time, Partizan added several new pieces, signing Kevarrius Hayes, Lamar Stevens, Alessandro Pajola and Nikola Tanaskovic.
