Paris has officially announced the departure of Maodo Lo, bringing an end to his successful tenure with the French club.
Maodo Lo, who joined Paris in the previous season, made a significant impact, often coming off the bench and injecting valuable energy into the team. His contributions were key as Paris reached historic milestones both in the LNB Pro A and in the EuroLeague.
While Maodo Lo’s season was impressive, he was also a crucial player for the German national team, although a recent injury did slow him down slightly. Despite that setback, his overall performance remained solid, cementing his positive legacy with Paris.
There is speculation that Lo’s next destination could be Zalgiris, where he is expected to play a similar role to what he had in Paris. With the addition of Nigel Hayes-Davis, Zalgiris has strengthened its roster and filled a key position at point guard, making Lo a perfect fit to continue his development in a new environment.
This move comes at a time when Paris is undergoing several changes in its squad. Notably, the club has said goodbye to important players like T.J. Shorts and Tiago Splitter. Meanwhile, Nadir Hifi remains with the team, along with a few other departures.
As Paris looks to the future, the team faces a period of transition, but they are undoubtedly focused on maintaining their competitive edge. Fans will be eager to see how the roster takes shape in the coming months, with new signings and a fresh chapter ahead for the club.
