Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Preview
The Milwaukee Bucks find themselves in a very troubling position regarding their recent form, their prospects for this season, and even the future of the franchise. Over their last 12 games, they have recorded ten losses, and the primary reason for this is the frequent injuries to their best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. In the recent period, the Greek superstar has appeared in only three games, one of which the Milwaukee Bucks managed to win — against the Brooklyn Nets with a score of 116–99 — before sustaining yet another injury after only three minutes of play against the Detroit Pistons. The Bucks managed to win that matchup 113–109, but then lost the next two, to the Philadelphia 76ers (101–116) and the Detroit Pistons in a rematch, 112–124.
In the mentioned victory over the Detroit Pistons, a quartet from the Milwaukee Bucks shined. Recently recovered Kevin Porter showed how much he missed basketball during his absence, leading his teammates to the win with 26 points and 7 assists. He has been in phenomenal form since returning to the court, recording 30, 26, 20, and 32 points in his previous four games. Alongside him, Ryan Rollins was also fantastic — a point guard who unexpectedly stepped into the spotlight due to numerous injuries among key Bucks players, to the point that some analysts even mention him as a potential candidate for the Most Improved Player award. In addition to these two, AJ Green played excellently and recorded 19 points, but in the very next game he sustained a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the new clash with the Pistons, while Jericho Sims delivered perhaps the best performance of his career. However, in the following two games, far fewer Bucks players were in good rhythm, and the team may have to slowly get used to life without Giannis Antetokounmpo, especially considering the increasingly frequent and louder reports that the Greek superstar could be traded. The Bucks have clearly been unable to take a step forward for years, and many believe that now — while Giannis Antetokounmpo is still one of the best players in the world — is the right time to reorganize the team and reshape the future of the franchise.
Unlike the Milwaukee Bucks, the Boston Celtics are in great form and in an excellent moment. The storied franchise has won five straight games and ten of its last twelve. In recent matchups, they managed to defeat very strong teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors on the road, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks at home. Their current record is 15–9, which is good enough for third place in the Eastern Conference standings, and has led all relevant analysts to conclude that Joe Mazzulla’s team is performing far better than expected.
The main reason behind the Boston Celtics’ success lies in the fantastic performances of Jaylen Brown. A player who has often been criticized in the past, and whose contracts were viewed with skepticism, has shown in Jayson Tatum’s absence that he is capable of being the best player on the franchise and one of the best scorers in the entire league. In his last seven games, he has scored over 30 points in six of them, and over 40 points twice. In the previous two games, against the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers, he led his team to victories with 30 points each, against opponents who had no solution for his game. In the matchup with the Raptors, he was joined in the final stretch by the fantastic Derrick White, who scored 14 of his 27 points in the last five minutes of the game. During this stretch, the Celtics went on an 18–3 run, which ultimately decided the outcome of the game. Alongside these two, Payton Pritchard is also enjoying greater prominence this season, while Neemias Queta and Anfernee Simmons are also playing significant roles. Under Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics have not abandoned their philosophy, and once again this season they are a team that relies heavily on three-point shooting. They rank third in the league in three-point attempts per game (43.3), first in total threes made per game (16), and are in an excellent tenth place in three-point shooting percentage. They have the second-best offense in the league — a remarkable achievement given that they are playing without their best player — and over their last five games, they have had by far the best offensive rating, scoring 133.8 points per 100 offensive possessions.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Best Betting Tip and Prediction
The Boston Celtics have been playing fantastic basketball lately, especially on offense, and currently hold by far the best offensive rating in the league. This performance is not far from their usual level, as they have the second-best offense in the NBA. Now they face a team that will once again be without Giannis Antetokounmpo, which means the Milwaukee Bucks’ defense is significantly weakened ahead of a clash with the league’s second-best offense. For all these reasons, we believe that the game will feature more points than the projected total.
