Moses Wright, the American center, has confirmed rumors of his move from Zalgiris to Barcelona next season.
Moses Wright had long been on the radar of the Spanish giants, and in recent months there has been a lot of speculation about his departure to Barcelona.
Although it has not yet been officially announced, the American center himself confirmed in an interview with “Sport 24” that the move is happening.
“All the rumors are spreading while I’m here. But yeah, I should be in Spain next year”, he said, and added:
“Barcelona is a great club, a great organization. They’ve built a team with great players. A good city, everything…”
Moses Wright also talked about his season with Zalgiris.
“I feel like I’ve improved. I played a full year of basketball, that’s great news.”
Even though offseason just started, there were already some big moves on the market and 27-year-old center chose his favorite.
“Sylvain Francisco to Asvel. Tony Parker is there as well. That’s a great move for him. It will be great for him as a point guard. Who else? Mike (James) to Dubai. I saw that, I was excited to play with him. Armoni Brooks to ASVEL as well”, Moses Wright concluded.
Moses Wright averaged 13.2 points and 6.6 rebounds for Zalgiris in the EuroLeague and appeared in all 38 regular-season games.
