PAOK officially announced Nick Calathes as the newest addition to the Thessaloniki-based club via social media.
With this move, PAOK secured a major reinforcement at the point guard position, as the experienced floor general spent the previous season playing for Partizan.
The Belgrade side had planned to keep Nick Calathes for another year, but the astronomical offer presented by Andrea Trinchieri ultimately proved decisive.
Even at 37 years old, the Greek guard has shown that he still has plenty left to offer on the court. He played an important role for Partizan this past season and will now have the opportunity to showcase his basketball skills in Thessaloniki.
PAOK is preparing for a major roster overhaul ahead of next season. With an increased budget and lofty ambitions, the club is expected to make several more high-profile signings in the coming period.
