Nick Weiler-Babb, who arrived at Anadolu Efes last summer, could already leave the club after just one season.
Although he has a contract with the Turkish club for next season as well, Eurohoops reports that Nick Weiler-Babb is in talks with Asvel and that a deal could be reached soon.
It is well known that Asvel is significantly increasing its investment for the new season, with Tony Parker set to take over as head coach of the club. There are already reports suggesting that the roster could be strengthened by players such as Sylvain Francisco, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Armoni Brooks, and Adam Mokoka.
Generally, just like Anadolu Efes as a whole, Nick Weiler-Babb has not had a particularly strong season. He played 28 games in the Turkish Super League, averaging 4.9 points, 3.9 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game.
In the EuroLeague, he had a slightly more notable impact, appearing in 37 games and averaging 7.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
It should be noted that Nick Weiler-Babb joined Anadolu Efes after winning the EuroLeague Best Defender award in 2025 while playing for Bayern.
Aside from Bayern, where he played from 2020 to 2025, Weiler-Babb has also played for Ludwigsburg. It should also be noted that in 2022 he won a bronze medal at EuroBasket with the German national team.
