Lorenzo Brown has found a new home, officially signing with Milano for the upcoming season, as announced by the Italian club.
His departure from Panathinaikos seemed inevitable, and now it’s confirmed that his next destination will be Italy.
During his season with Panathinaikos, Brown averaged 6.3 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. While he didn’t quite meet all expectations in Athens, his solid all-around contributions were enough to secure him a new contract in the EuroLeague, marking the sixth club of his career at this level of competition.
Over the years, Lorenzo Brown has played for some of Europe’s elite teams, including Crvena Zvezda, UNICS, Fenerbahce, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and Panathinaikos. His most notable stint came with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he played a crucial role in the team’s successes and helped solidify his reputation in European basketball.
On the international stage, Brown was also a key figure in Spain’s historic gold medal run at the European Championship, further showcasing his leadership and experience when it matters most.
With his move to Milano, the 33-year-old guard now has the opportunity to continue his European journey and contribute to Milano’s ambitions for the upcoming seasons. Milano, a club with high expectations, will be hoping Brown can bring his veteran presence and versatile skill set to help elevate their game in the EuroLeague.
