Alec Peters has officially been unveiled as a new Milano signing, the club announced on social media.
Alec Peters parted ways with Olympiacos following a season that ended with a EuroLeague title, and it had long been clear that Milano would be his next destination. Now, the move is official.
The Italian powerhouse announced that the forward has signed a multi-year contract, completing the club’s first signing of the summer.
“It feels amazing to join an organization like Olimpia Milano. It’s not just the name but the people inside the club who make it a team that my family is excited to be a part of. I will come ready to set a standard of hard work, consistency, and toughness.
I hope the supporters know that we will give everything we have because I know they will give us everything they have. There are big things ahead for Milano and I want to say thank you to the club for wanting me to be a part of it,” said Alec Peters.
The American forward averaged 6.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season while playing just under 15 minutes per game. He appeared in all 38 games for Olympiacos.
Before joining Olympiacos, Peters played for Baskonia, Anadolu Efes, CSKA Moscow, and the Phoenix Suns.
