Isaia Cordinier, French national team member and former Virtus player, has officially signed with Anadolu Efes on a two-year deal.
Although reports of his transfer surfaced around ten days ago, the move became official only after the expiration of the NBA-out clause in his preliminary agreement with the Turkish club, which was valid until July 25.

Last season with Virtus Bologna, Isaia Cordinier delivered strong performances in the EuroLeague, averaging 12 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across 34 games.
During his three-year stint in Italy, he played a key role in Virtus’ recent success – winning the Serie A title this past season, the EuroCup in 2022, and back-to-back Italian Supercups in 2022 and 2023.
Before joining Virtus in 2021, the 27-year-old also played for Nanterre, Antibes Sharks, Denain, and Evreux in France.
Cordinier becomes Anadolu Efes’ fourth signing of the summer, joining Nick Weiler-Babb, Georgios Papagiannis, and Sehmus Hazer.
Efes, however, has also gone through major changes this offseason, most notably on the bench. Serbian coach Igor Kokoskov returned from the NBA to replace Luca Banchi as head coach.
The club has also parted ways with six players so far: Dogus Ozdemiroglu, Derek Willis, Elijah Bryant, Dan Oturu, Jordan Nwora, and Darius Thompson
