After a standout EuroLeague season with Zalgiris — averaging 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists — Walker IV made a brief return to the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers. He delivered solid performances in Philly, putting up 12.4 points and 2.5 assists per game, but didn’t secure a contract extension, paving the way for his return to Europe.
Maccabi sees Walker IV as a focal point in their offensive system and a dynamic leader in the backcourt.
For the 26-year-old Walker IV, this is a prime opportunity to shine on the European stage. For Maccabi, the signing sends a clear message of ambition heading into the new season.
