Luca Banchi and Anadolu Efes officially parted ways today, the Istanbul club announced.
It is already known who will replace the Italian coach—Igor Kokoskov, former head coach of the Serbian national team, Fenerbahce, and the Phoenix Suns, as well as a longtime assistant in the NBA. Basketball Sphere was the first to report this back in March.

Claim Now Banchi joined Anadolu Efes in early January, but it’s fair to say he didn’t achieve significant success during his time with the Turkish club.
In the EuroLeague, Efes finished the regular season in sixth place and reached the quarterfinals, where they were eliminated by Panathinaikos in a 3-2 series.
In the Turkish Super League, they reached the semifinals but were knocked out by Besiktas, again in a 3-2 series. Besiktas also eliminated Anadolu Efes earlier in the season in the Turkish Cup quarterfinals.
