Panathinaikos have officially signed their first reinforcement for next season today, and it is Moustapha Fall, who most recently played for Olympiacos.
Not only was he a member of Olympiacos, but Moustapha Fall spent the previous five years with the Reds, achieving major success with the Piraeus club and, for many years, being one of the team’s key players.

This is the first signing for Panathinaikos since Zeljko Obradovic returned to the club’s bench after a full 14 years, with the Serbian coach officially presented on Monday.
Interestingly, Fall has signed a 2+1 year contract with Panathinaikos after missing the entire recently concluded season due to a serious knee injury. In fact, he made just two appearances in early April in the EuroLeague.
In this transfer window so far, Panathinaikos have seen two players leave the team – T.J. Shorts and Kenneth Faried.
As for Fall, the 34-year-old French center previously played for Asvel, Turk Telekom, Lokomotiv Kuban, Sakarya BSB, Chalon/Sane, Antibes Sharks, Monaco, and Poitiers 86 before joining Olympiacos.
