Olympiacos has officially announced the signing of nine-year NBA veteran point guard Monte Morris for the remainder of the season, following his recent stint with the Indiana Pacers.
The 30-year-old Morris had been a free agent. He last played six games for the Pacers between November 9 and 17 before being released so the team could sign forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.

In those six appearances, Morris averaged 3.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 10.8 minutes per game.
Across 426 NBA games, he has averaged 9.3 points and 3.6 assists per game. His best season came in 2020–21 with the Denver Nuggets, when he posted 12.6 points and 4.4 assists per game.
With Morris, Olympiacos further strengthens its position among the top teams in terms of quality and roster depth, as they already feature Frank Ntilikina, Tyler Dorsey, Gianoulis Larentzakis, Saben Lee, and Evan Fournier at the guard positions.
Morris has played alongside several current EuroLeague players during his time in the NBA, including Real Madrid’s Facundo Campazzo (112 games) and Trey Lyles (70 games), Panathinaikos Athens’s Juancho Hernangomez (111 games) and Kendrick Nunn (17 games), and Baskonia Markus Howard (63 games).
