Panathinaikos have officially brought Cedi Osman’s chapter at the club to an end, publishing a heartfelt farewell message for the Turkish international ahead of his expected move to PAOK.
After two memorable seasons in green, the Athens club thanked Osman for his professionalism, commitment and the impact he made during his time with the team.
The club wrote:

The message came shortly after it became clear that Osman is set to continue his career with PAOK, where he is expected to sign a three-year contract.
Osman leaves after two trophy-winning seasons
Osman joined Panathinaikos ahead of the 2024-25 season and quickly became one of the team’s most reliable players.
During his two years in Athens, he helped the club lift the Greek Cup twice, winning the competition in 2025 and 2026, while also playing an important role in the EuroLeague and domestic competitions.
Last season, the 31-year-old forward averaged 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, establishing himself as one of the key pieces in Panathinaikos’ rotation.

Panathinaikos continue major offseason overhaul
Osman’s exit is another significant change during a busy summer for Panathinaikos.
The club has already parted ways with former head coach Ergin Ataman, while Marius Grigonis returned to Zalgiris. T.J. Shorts left for Valencia, and both Kenneth Faried and Alexandros Samodurov also departed the club.
At the same time, Panathinaikos have been equally active in the transfer market.
The Greek powerhouse strengthened its roster by signing Isaac Bonga from Partizan, Guerschon Yabusele after his NBA stint, Brancou Badio from Valencia and Moustapha Fall from Olympiacos.
Perhaps the biggest move of the summer came on the sidelines, where Zeljko Obradovic returned as head coach 14 years after leaving the club, beginning a new era with one of Europe’s most decorated basketball organizations.
