SDNA reported last night that Partizan is interested in acquiring Jabari Parker, and today that information has been confirmed by sources close to the player.
Nikos Locos, the agent who represents players from the Priority Sports agency in this region—an agency trusted by Parker—responded to Meridian Sport and announced that the transfer is nearing completion.
If everything goes according to plan, there should be no obstacles for Parker, and Zeljko Obradovic could get a major reinforcement for the upcoming season.

“It’s true. We are very close to an agreement with Partizan,” said Locos to Meridian Sport.
To recall, Parker is still under contract with Barcelona, but it’s almost certain that he will leave the Blaugrana. Panathinaikos and Olimpia Milano were also mentioned as potential destinations, but it seems that Partizan has won the race, with only minor details left before the contract is signed.
The American had an outstanding statistical season in the EuroLeague, where he, along with Kevin Punter, was a leader of Joan Penarroya’s team. He averaged 13.8 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
