Partizan have reached an agreement in principle with American center Kevarrius Hayes, who is expected to become the latest addition to the black-and-whites.
Although the transfer has not yet been officially confirmed by the club, it is expected that Partizan and Kevarrius Hayes will sign a two-year contract worth $1.5 million per season for the former Monaco center.
According to BasketNews, the Belgrade club will also pay a buyout to Monaco, who have been in a long-standing financial crisis, which could see them play in the EuroCup next season, while even a drop to lower divisions has not been ruled out.
The club from the Principality is expected to receive around €1.5 million in total from the transfers of Matthew Strazel to Anadolu Efes and Hayes to Partizan.
The report also adds that Nikola Mirotic could be the next player put on the market. His salary is among the highest in the club, and Monaco are reportedly looking to reduce their financial burden.
