Isaac Bonga, the new player of Partizan, spoke to Partizan TV about the challenges he will face in the upcoming season.
The current world champion is one of many reinforcements of Partizan next season, and he is aware of the significant challenge head for Zeljko Obradovic’s team.
“First, we need to get to know each other, understand what each of us likes and dislikes. We need to learn about one another and all the other things. We have a great group of guys here. After a few days of practice, we’ll be ready to go to war together,” said the German national team player.
He also touched on Partizan’s main goals for the upcoming season regarding the EuroLeague.
“The first goal is always to make the playoffs. Then, we’ll take it day by day. The plan is to play hard in every game. We have players with great versatility, both defensively and offensively, which will involve a lot of switching, where communication will be crucial. What the fans can expect from us, and from me, is that we will play hard in every game and do whatever it takes for the team to win.”
He also commented on the “Black-and-White Symphony” that was recently held.
“I have never experienced anything like that before, and it just showed us what we’re getting into – in a positive way. It was amazing to see something like that, like a small concert, where everyone was singing all the time, and everyone was very emotional about everything. Incredible.
Until now, I was on the other side, but now I am part of it. It will be great to have such support on our side. It will be like an energy boost every time we step on the court, being aware that we represent such a club,” concluded Isaac Bonga.
