Aleksa Avramovic is the Serbia guard who spent the summer of 2026 moving from the EuroLeague back down to the EuroCup. Dubai loaned him to Bahcesehir Koleji on 16 July 2026 for the 2026-27 season, so his contract still belongs to Dubai. He is 1.92 meters, born on 25 October 1994 in Cacak, and he plays for Sasa Djordjevic in Istanbul.
He came up at Borac in his home town, with a season at OKK Beograd on the way, and left Serbia at 21. Three years at Varese in Italy, then Spain with Unicaja and Estudiantes, and only in 2021 did he come home, to Partizan. That is where most people first noticed him. He won the ABA League with Partizan in 2023, moved to CSKA Moscow in 2024 and won the VTB United League there in 2025, then joined Dubai Basketball and won the ABA League again in 2026. Three seasons, three leagues, three titles.
The national team is where he built his name. He won World Cup silver with Serbia in 2023 and Olympic bronze in Paris in 2024, and at those Olympics he was named the best defensive player of the tournament. That is the reputation he carries: a guard who is signed for what he takes away rather than what he scores. He was also named MVP of the Serbian First League back in 2016 and Newcomer of the Year in the VTB league in 2025.
