The one constant, however, is Zalgiris’ defense when playing in Kaunas. They are defensively much tougher there than on the road, and I believe they will once again be able to hold Fenerbahce under 80 points. That should be enough to cover the +6.5 point spread.

Panathinaikos took a huge step toward the EuroLeague Final Four by winning twice at the Roig Arena last week, but they complicated things with the Game 3 loss on Wednesday. Now the pressure is entirely on their shoulders because another defeat and a return to Spain would put them in a disastrous position. I expect complete focus and urgency from the home team from the opening tip. I would genuinely be shocked if Panathinaikos wasted everything they earned last week. Knowing what’s at stake and how much has been invested into this team with the Final Four being hosted at OAKA, I believe they won’t lose here. And even if they do, I still have the +3.5 spread if it comes down to the final possession.

The New York Knicks will be without OG Anunoby in Game 3, and that will definitely impact their performance. In Game 2, the Philadelphia 76ers had a chance even without Joel Embiid. He is expected to play on Friday night, which would significantly ease things for Nick Nurse’s team. Even if he doesn’t play, I would still lean toward a 76ers win here because I believe they have the quality and character to win back-to-back games at home and extend this series. Overall, I would be surprised if the Knicks go up 3–0.
