Zaragoza drastically improved its level of basketball since Joan Plaza became head coach, but they still occasionally suffer poor performances and bad losses. To be fair, that happens much more often on the road than at home. Now they have a must-win game against Granada, a team already de facto relegated to the lower division, and it would be a huge shock if the home team lost this one. A defeat here would put Zaragoza in a very difficult position regarding survival, and I don’t believe that will happen.
18:30 Saint Quentin vs Le Mans

Odds: 1.50
Saint Quentin will try to overtake Gravelines in the standings over the final two rounds and avoid the play-out in LNB Pro A, but to do that they must beat Le Mans at home. They outplayed Bourg and Strasbourg in the previous two rounds, which is a strong indication that they are currently playing their best basketball of the season. I have no doubt they will leave everything on the floor to get the win on Saturday. Le Mans is the more serious and talented team overall, but I don’t think they will win by double digits this time.
20:00 AEK Athens vs Rytas
Pick: Under 167.5 points
Odds: 1.52
Both FIBA Champions League semifinal games were defined by physical basketball and strong defense, and I definitely don’t expect that to change in the final either. AEK Athens is known for its slow pace and half-court style, while Rytas showed against Tenerife that it can adapt to that type of game as well. It’s also unrealistic to expect particularly high three-point shooting percentages in a game of this importance, so I would be very surprised if AEK Athens and Rytas combine for more than 167.5 points here.
