Gran Canaria is having its worst season in the last 20 years. Not only are they out of the playoff race in Liga Endesa, but they are also fighting to avoid relegation. They will probably need to win at least two of their final four games and this is a great opportunity. Tenerife suffered a painful loss to Rytas in the semifinals of the FIBA Champions League. I believe Gran Canaria can take advantage of that situation, and even if they somehow lose, my prediction is that it will happen in a dramatic finish.

Baskonia is a completely different team at home compared to on the road. Some of the best EuroLeague teams have gone down this season in the Fernando Buesa Arena. Murcia is the biggest overachiever in Liga Endesa this season and they are fighting for a top-four finish and home-court advantage. If they win on Thursday, they would almost certainly secure that goal, but I believe in Baskonia here. They will also be chasing the five-point deficit from the first head-to-head meeting this season, and I would not be surprised if they manage to cover that as well.
