Fenerbahce faces Virtus in EuroLeague Round 13, and ahead of the game, Sarunas Jasikevicius and Bonzie Colson shared their thoughts.
Sarunas Jasikevicius, Fenerbahce’s head coach, emphasized that his team is in excellent rhythm with eight consecutive wins across all competitions, and that they must continue this streak:
- Bo McCalebb: How can you not respect Zeljko Obradovic? My only regret is that I didn’t listen to him enough
- Numbers Game: Three trends to follow in EuroLeague Round 13
“We want to continue with a good moment for us. Try to make it as long as possible. Bologna, a very well-coached team with a great guard play. Very clearly, everything is passing through the hands of [Luca] Vildoza, [Carsen] Edwards and [Matt] Morgan. A lot of surprise attacks by the penetrators and a good job on the boards by the big men.”
Bonzie Colson, Fenerbahçe forward, also spoke about the matchup against Virtus:
“It should be a fun atmosphere. It’s been some time since we’ve played home games here. So we’re excited about, you know, playing in front of the fans. Hopefully we can get the job done. It’s not going to be an easy game at all. Bologna is very talented. So it’s going to be a very good match. We’re excited about it. We just have to continue playing how we’ve been playing to keep this momentum going.”
Fenerbahce currently holds a 7–5 record, while Virtus stands at an even 6–6.
