San Pablo Burgos have announced the signing of Sekou Doumbouya, adding the former NBA forward to their roster ahead of the 2026/27 Liga Endesa and EuroCup seasons.
The 26-year-old power forward returns to Spain after previously playing for Andorra and brings experience from Europe, the NBA and the G League.
Doumbouya returns to Spain
Born in Conakry in 2000, Doumbouya began his professional career in France before moving to the United States in 2019.
He played in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers, while also gaining G League experience with the Grand Rapids Drive, South Bay Lakers and Delaware Blue Coats.
After returning to Europe, Doumbouya played for Chorale Roanne before joining Andorra.
During the 2024/25 Liga Endesa season, he averaged 11.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, while posting a 10.1 average rating.
Last season, the Guinean international continued his career in Japan with Koshigaya Alphas.
