Semi Ojeleye has signed a multi-year contract with Crvena Zvezda, Sportal reported and now it is confirmed by Andrea Calzoni.
Italian journalist Andrea Calzoni stated via social media platform “X” that the deal is already done and that all that remains is the signature on the contract.
According to him, it is a two-year agreement.
Semi Ojeleye is reportedly set to earn an annual salary of €1.5 million per year.
Valencia is currently playing the Liga Endesa semifinal series against Tenerife, leading 2–0 and just one step away from the finals. However, it’s evident that Semi Ojeleye does not have a significant role or playing time.
Throughout his career, Ojeleye has played for the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Virtus Bologna. Since 2023, he has been with Valencia, where he was one of the team’s top performers.
In the EuroCup this season, he averaged 11.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, while in the Liga Endesa he posted averages of 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds.
