Real Madrid guard Sergio Llull has had a truly legendary career, and he added another historic mark to his long list of achievements.
The Spanish guard has won practically everything there is to win for the Spanish giants, as well as the national team and is considered by many to be one of the best players in not only club history, but the history of European basketball. The 38-year-old was crucial in the club winning three EuroLeague titles in 2015, 2018 and especially 2023, where he hit the game winner against Olympiacos. However, he has not stopped playing at a high level.
Llull made history against Valencia in one of Real Madrid’s most important games of the season, as he reached the mark of 700 made three pointers in the EuroLeague with another make from beyond the arc, with 2:38 to go in the second quarter.

Llull is ahead of some incredible shooters like Mike James, Scottie Wilbekin and two of his former teammates from the Spanish national team, Juan Carlos Navarro and Sergio Rodriguez. James is the one that has the best chance to catch him but it’s going to take many more threes to for the American to get to that mark.
Llull is not having a tremendous seasons statistically as he is only averaging 2.9 points per game, but his defense and his clutch shooting make him a priceless part of the rotation of head coach Sergio Scariolo.
