American guard Shane Larkin believes that his new team, Fenerbahce, assembled the strongest guard rotation in the EuroLeague ahead of the new season.
The 33-year-old acknowledged the quality of several major rivals, such as Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, as teams with similarly deep and talented backcourts.

However, as Shane Larkin himself admitted, he was a little biased during his selection, but that does not lessen the fact that he believes in his teammates.
In addition to the naturalized Turkish national team player who signed a two-year contract, Fenerbahce reinforced their roster with Trent Forrest and Ignas Sargiunas, while Talen Horton-Tucker and Wade Baldwin remain from last season.
“Honestly, I might be a little biased, but I think we have the best guard rotation in the league,” Larkin told Fenerbahce TV.

Respect for EuroLeague rivals
At the same time, he praised the composition of the reigning European champions, Olympiacos, who also worked on bringing in reinforcements for their backcourt. Thus, Jean Montero and Codi Miller-McIntyre arrived in Piraeus, while Tyler Dorsey, Thomas Walkup, Cory Joseph, and Evan Fournier remain from last season – all important key players in their quest for the EuroLeague title.
“When I look at the rosters of other teams, I think Olympiacos, who recently won the championship, also have a very good roster. Panathinaikos certainly have very talented players as well.”
He also mentioned Panathinaikos, who will look different compared to last year. TJ Shorts left Athens, but Brancou Badio from Valencia joined Kendrick Nunn, Kostas Sloukas, and Jerian Grant.
Nevertheless, in the end, he once again gave preference to his own team over all rivals.
“There are probably other teams I’ve forgotten, but these three teams are the first ones that come to mind. I can say they have the most talented guard rotations in the league. Of course, I prefer our guard rotation to all the others,” he concluded.
