The 2025 NBA All-Star Game introduced a revamped four-team format, with Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith drafting squads, while Candace Parker coached the Rising Stars team.
In the opening matchup, Team Chuck secured a win over Team Kenny, thanks to a flawless 5-for-5 shooting performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Team Shaq, featuring sharpshooters Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard, took down Team Candace and the Rising Stars with Jaylen Brown sparking an offensive surge, scoring eight consecutive points.
In the final, Curry led Team Shaq to a dominant 41:25 win over Team Chuck, finishing with 12 points and earning All-Star Game MVP honors.
Notably, LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Edwards (groin) were sidelined and did not participate in Sunday’s game.
