Milano secured an important win on the road against Napoli, with a score of 77-71, in Round 15 of Serie A.
Milano head coach Peppe Poeta could not count on Ousmane Diop and Nate Sestina for this game. Quinn Ellis returned to Milano’s lineup after missing two EuroLeague games last week.
Also, very good news is that Stefano Tonut is back in Milano’s squad for the first time since November 23. Although he did not play in this game, the positive news is that his injury is behind him, and we can definitely expect him on the court in the upcoming matches.
Napoli got off to a much better start in this game, winning the first quarter 23-15, but Milano looked much stronger on the court afterward, especially on defense. Gradually, they chipped away at Napoli’s lead, and in the final quarter they played very well, completing a full comeback. Strong defense completely shut down Napoli, allowing Milano to secure a routine victory.
