Tarik Biberovic has officially become a new player of the Dallas Mavericks, with the NBA franchise confirming the arrival of the Turkish international shortly after his departure from Fenerbahce.
The move had been widely expected after Biberovic left the EuroLeague powerhouse yesterday, and Dallas has now completed the process of bringing one of Europe’s most talented young wings to the NBA.

Dallas announced that, according to team policy, the terms of Biberovic’s deal were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, Dallas sent guard AJ Johnson, a top-20 protected 2030 first-round pick via Golden State, and a 2029 second-round pick via Houston to Memphis.
The acquisition gives the Mavericks another versatile forward option as they continue reshaping their roster.

Biberovic leaves Fenerbahce after eight successful years
Biberovic spent the last eight years with Fenerbahce, developing from a young prospect into one of the team’s most important rotation players.
During the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, he delivered the best statistical campaign of his career, appearing in 41 games and averaging:
- 11.3 points
- 3.0 rebounds
- 1.3 assists
while becoming one of Fenerbahce’s most reliable perimeter threats.
His performances helped him earn recognition as one of the top young European wings and ultimately opened the door for his NBA opportunity.
