    Treviso vs Milano Preview

Treviso are in trouble, to say the least, after four losses in their last five games. The team currently sits 15th in the standings with three wins and 14 losses and is in the relegation zone, while the first team above the line is Cantu with one more win. In their last three games, Treviso lost to Virtus, Trento and Trieste, after previously beating Varese. This season, Treviso average 81.1 points per game, shoot a solid 50.8 percent from the field, but only 31.1 percent from three-point range. That is a major issue, as it allows opposing defenses to collapse into the paint and effectively dare them to shoot from the perimeter. It is much easier to prepare for teams with such a poor outside shot. Treviso are also the worst home team in the league so far, with just two wins and six losses.

It is true that Treviso are practically at the bottom of the league, but it cannot be said that they lack experience. On the contrary, there are several well-known names with proven quality who could potentially help the team survive. Leon Radosevic, Kruize Pinkins, Briante Weber and Alessandro Cappelletti all have basketball in their hands, but so far it has not looked good, and a major turnaround is needed to change the course of a team currently drifting downstream toward a waterfall. Pinkins showed his quality against Trieste with 18 points and eight rebounds, Cappelletti has proven to be a solid addition from Trapani, while Weber has shown he can even score 30 points, as he did against Sassari. Still, against EuroLeague side Milano, Treviso will need something close to a miracle if they want to threaten and win.

Milano, on the other hand, are dealing with serious injury problems, have already changed coaches this season, and have shown plenty of inconsistency. They currently sit fourth in Serie A with a 12–5 record, including two consecutive losses. What is also clear is that Milano are on an upward trend in terms of form, having won three of their last four games, all of them in the EuroLeague, which gives them much better momentum heading into this road game. They beat Asvel away in a close finish and previously dominated Baskonia, effectively erasing a poor stretch in which they lost five of seven games. Offensively, Milano have no real issues this season and are among the best attacking teams even in the EuroLeague. Defense, however, remains a problem, something that has persisted for years and has continued under the new coach. The team from the fashion capital will look to patch up those defensive holes as soon as possible so their offensive firepower can truly come to the fore.

Milano will do everything they can to avoid a third straight loss in Serie A, something that would be unacceptable for a EuroLeague team. Home defeats to Varese and Brescia were painful, and now is the moment for quality to prevail. Speaking of quality, Marko Guduric stands out. The Serbian international is in good form, scoring in double figures in his last two games, and was particularly impressive against Asvel with 18 points and seven assists. Quinn Ellis has also been solid, while Zach LeDay is one of the best power forwards in European basketball, giving Milano a huge advantage through his versatility. When points need to be created out of nothing, Armoni Brooks is the man, a deadly shooter who can completely break games when he gets hot. That is not the case every night, but when it is, Milano’s job becomes much easier.

Where to Watch Treviso vs Milano?

Treviso vs Milano Best Betting Tip and Prediction

Milano cannot afford three straight losses in the domestic league. On paper, they may have the strongest roster in Serie A, and now they face a team sitting in the relegation zone. Anything other than a Milano win would be a major surprise. Motivation should be high after poor recent domestic performances, and we expect Milano to approach this game fully focused. That is why the handicap is the chosen bet.
