Crvena Zvezda continues to build its squad for the upcoming season, officially announcing Tyson Carter as their latest addition.
Earlier today, reports surfaced that the American guard had negotiated his release from Unicaja, and Crvena Zvezda swiftly confirmed the signing shortly after.
Carter began his professional career with Lavrio before moving on to play for Zenit and then Unicaja, where he spent three seasons.
Last season, he averaged 11.8 points and 3.4 assists per game in the highly competitive Liga Endesa. Even more impressive was his performance in the FIBA Champions League, where he earned MVP honors at the Final Four.
Carter marks the fifth new arrival at Crvena Zvezda’s home court, joining earlier signings Chima Moneke, Ebuka Izundu, Semi Ojeleye, and Stefan Miljenovic. Additionally, Uros Plavsic has returned to the team following his loan spell.
Fans can also expect the club to announce another signing in the near future, as the roster continues to take shape ahead of the new campaign.
