Tyson Etienne has officially signed with Paris, earning his first opportunity in European basketball after fighting his way from an undrafted NBA prospect to a player ready to make his EuroLeague debut.
The American guard arrives after building his career in the United States, including a stint in the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets. Paris sees Tyson Etienne as an important addition to its backcourt rotation and a player capable of bringing scoring ability and leadership to the team.
Tyson Etienne earns EuroLeague opportunity after NBA journey
Etienne, 26, began his professional career after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, earning an opportunity through the G League with the College Park Skyhawks.
His performances eventually led to an NBA contract with the Brooklyn Nets in March 2025. During his time with the franchise, Etienne appeared in 31 NBA games, while also spending time with the Long Island Nets.
Known for his scoring ability, perimeter shooting and ability to create his own shot, Etienne enters European basketball after proving himself in the NBA and G League environment.
The Paris move will represent his first European experience and a new challenge in the EuroLeague.
Tyson Etienne was also linked with Partizan
Before reaching an agreement with Paris, Etienne was reportedly on Partizan’s radar.
According to previous reports, the Serbian club had contacted the American guard as part of its search for backcourt reinforcements. Partizan viewed Etienne as a potential addition due to his NBA experience, scoring ability and versatility at the guard position.
However, Etienne ultimately chose Paris, where he will begin his first EuroLeague campaign.

Paris continues roster reshaping
Paris continues to reshape its roster ahead of another demanding EuroLeague season.
The club has already added Maozinha Pereira, Terry Tarpey, TJ Warren and Tyson Etienne, while Leopold Cavaliere has extended his contract. Paris has also confirmed that Nadir Hifi, Sebastian Herrera and Jared Rhoden will remain with the team, meaning the French club is keeping a significant part of last season’s core.
Etienne’s arrival represents another important EuroLeague transaction this offseason as Paris continues building a competitive roster for ahead of its third consecutive season in Europe’s premier competition.
