Unicaja was able to pull out a big and dramatic win on the road against Forca Lleida, winning 89-88 in Round 9 of the Liga Endesa.
Unicaja got an important victory on the road against a very motivated Forca Lleida team, to improve their record to 7-3 in the Spanish league. In a battle of the big men, Aleksander Balcerowski made the difference with his 19 points along with eight rebounds, while Melvin Ejim scored 17 points for the opponent. The game was also significant due to the fact that this was the 200th victory as Unicaja coach for their leader, Ibon Navarro.
Unicaja’s next game will be in the FIBA Champions League against Oostende in Round 5 on December 9th, while Forca Lleida‘s next game will be against Bilbao in the Liga Endesa on December 14th.

In other games played today, Murcia smashed Burgos 110-88, with a fantastic offensive performance as seven Murcia players scored in double figures, to improve their record to 7-2 and keep third place in the Liga Endesa.
Zaragoza defeated Granada in a clash at the bottom of the table, in large part thanks to their 41 rebounds, winning 92-83 to earn their third win of the season while Granada falls to 1-8. Santiago Yusta had 20 points for Zaragoza while Luka Bozic had 21 for Granada.
And finally, Girona defeated Breogan 103-80, winning comfortably with Josep Busquets leading the way in scoring, tallying 17 points, as they caught up to their opponent in the middle of the table, with both of them having a 4-5 record after this contest.
