The Cleveland Cavaliers secured a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Detroit Pistons on the road 125-94 in Game 7.
In that way, the Cavaliers took advantage of their second opportunity to win the series, considering they suffered a convincing 115-94 defeat on their home court in Game 6.
However, in this game they imposed their rhythm from the very beginning, winning the opening quarter 31-22 and immediately showing the direction in which the game would go. After that, the visitors’ lead kept growing minute by minute. At no point was the winner ever really in doubt. There was only one team on the floor throughout the entire game, as the Cavaliers routinely controlled the score. In the end, they won all four quarters and recorded a very convincing victory.
