During the clash between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers, which the Bucks won 105–101 after a dramatic finish, Giannis Antetokounmpo completely stole the spotlight.
The Greek superstar made two decisive defensive plays on LeBron James in consecutive possessions. With the score tied at 101–101 and 40 seconds remaining, LeBron James called for a screen from Jake LaRavia, aiming to force a switch onto AJ Green. He managed to split the pick-and-roll and attack the rim, seemingly on his way to an easy basket. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo chased him down from behind and pinned the ball against the backboard in classic LeBron fashion.

On the other end, the Bucks targeted Luka Doncic defensively and managed to force the Slovenian star to switch onto Kevin Porter Jr. The left-handed guard created space with a sidestep and went up for the shot, drawing contact from Luka Doncic. There will be debate over whether it was truly a foul, but the Lakers had no challenge remaining and had to accept the referees decision.
That call marked Luka Doncic sixth foul, and Kevin Porter Jr. converted two of his three free throws. JJ Redick chose not to call a timeout, and once again the ball ended up in the hands of LeBron James, who repeated the same action by calling Jake LaRavia into a screen to get AJ Green switched onto him. This time, LeBron James tried to surprise Giannis Antetokounmpo by driving in the opposite direction, but the Greek forward smartly poked the ball away from behind, effectively sealing the victory for Milwaukee.
Thanks to his late free throws, Kevin Porter Jr. finished as the top scorer with 22 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 21, Kyle Kuzma scored 13, while AJ Green and Bobby Portis chipped in with 11 points each. On the other side, LeBron James recorded 26 points, while Luka Doncic finished with 24.
