    Tenerife convincingly defeated Valencia at home with a score of 89-71 in the 22nd round of the Spanish Endesa League.

    The home team in this match could not count on their new addition, Patty Mills, while on the other side, Valencia was without Darius Thompson, Cameron Taylor, and Yankuba Sima.

    Both teams started the game very well. Scoring on both sides was plentiful until the beginning of the second quarter. At that point, the home team shifted into a higher gear, especially on defense, allowing Valencia only 8 points in the second quarter.

    From start to finish, Tenerife controlled the game. The visitors, struggling with extremely poor three-point shooting, simply could not find a way to score. The home team, with several players in good form, dictated the pace throughout the match, practically never allowing Valencia to cut the deficit below 10 points, and thus earned a well-deserved victory.

    The most efficient player in the winning team was Thomas Scrubb with 16 points and 6 rebounds, Wesley Van Beck added 14, and Rokas Giedraitis had 12 points.

    For the losing team, Valencia, Jaime Pradilla stood out with 17 points, and Josep Puerto added 10.

    After this match, Tenerife remain in eighth place (13-9) and will play their next game in the FIBA Champions League away at Trieste. Valencia stays in second place on the table (16-6) and will host Barcelona in their next EuroLeague game.
