Zach LaVine proved once again that he is still an elite scorer in the Sacramento Kings’ 127–111 win over the Miami Heat.
The former Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls guard exploded for 42 points (12/24 FG, 8/13 3PT, 10/11 FT), looking absolutely unstoppable. Of course, this is far from his first dominant performance — he once even knocked down 13 threes in a single game — but the way he moves makes nights like this look spectacular.
Zach LaVine practically floats in the air, leaving defenders with nothing to hope for except that the 2015 and 2016 NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion might miss. Tonight, that rarely happened. Alongside him, Keegan Murray added 16 points, Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 15, DeMar DeRozan scored 13, while Russell Westbrook recorded 12 points and 10 assists.
For Miami, Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 27 points, Simone Fontecchio contributed 20, and Norman Powell finished with 18. Nikola Jovic received extended minutes for the first time since his injury — he played 30 minutes, putting up 12 points and 6 assists.

Compared to the matchup in Florida, things were much more tense in Ohio, where the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 99–94.
If you follow the NBA, you definitely remember how many NBA Finals battles these two teams played — but those days are long gone. Tonight, the Warriors stepped on the court with a lineup that, at first glance, could easily be mistaken for a G League roster.
There was no Stephen Curry, no Draymond Green, no Jimmy Butler, and no Al Horford — which meant Pat Spencer took control and scored 19 points. He was followed by Buddy Hield with 13 and Quinten Post with 12, while Brandin Podziemski made key plays down the stretch, finishing with 10 points.
For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell dropped 29 points, Evan Mobley collected 18, and Darius Garland added 17. Mitchell had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer from the right wing, but he missed, and the Warriors secured the victory from the free-throw line thanks to Spencer.
