Will Clyburn and Andrejs Grazulis officially parted ways with Virtus today after one year with the club, the team announced.
The long-expected departure of Will Clyburn from Virtus is now official. Now that the veteran forward is a free agent, his next chapter is already lined up – he’s agreed to terms with Barcelona and will soon join the Catalan giants.
Clyburn appeared in 24 EuroLeague games last season wearing the Virtus jersey, posting solid numbers with 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
Before his time in Bologna, the 34-year-old played for several top clubs, including Anadolu Efes, CSKA Moscow, Darussafaka, Hapoel Holon, and ratiopharm Ulm.
At the same time, Latvian big man Andrejs Grazulis has also moved on from Virtus. Unlike Clyburn, he had a smaller role in the rotation, and the club has announced that his next stop will be Turk Telekom. Grazulis ended last season on loan at Joventut and appeared in 21 EuroLeague games for Virtus, averaging 5 points and 1.4 rebounds.
