Zac Seljaas has officially left Asvel after spending one season in Villeurbanne and is now searching for a new club.
It was expected that Zac Seljaas would not stay at Asvel, which is preparing major signings and a historic budget, and the question now remains where the American forward will continue his career.
Basketball Sphere recently learned that Zac Seljaas was one of the targets of Partizan last summer, and that contact between the two sides has been renewed in the recent period.
However, at that time, Galatasaray was more concrete in its interest, with Vladimir Micov serving as sporting director. Since that is no longer the case, it remains to be seen whether the Istanbul club will continue to pursue the player, who prefers to play in the elite competition.
That preference could give Partizan an advantage, as the Serbian club may once again look to re-establish contact.
Seljaas averaged 6.7 points and three rebounds in 20 minutes per game in the EuroLeague last season. Interestingly, one of his best performances came precisely against Partizan, when he scored 18 points in a winning effort.
