Zaragoza announced this morning that Italian guard Marco Spissu will not be part of the squad next season.
The Zaragoza club stated that, since his arrival at the club, Marco Spissu has distinguished himself by his leadership skills, his talent in directing the game, and his daily involvement, becoming an important piece both on and off the court.

They also indicated that during these two seasons, Marco Spissu consistently demonstrated an exemplary attitude, putting his experience and quality at the service of the team and proudly representing the values of Zaragoza.
The club recalls many important shared moments, but undoubtedly the three-pointer in Lugo that secured the team’s place in the Liga Endesa will forever remain etched in their memory. That decisive play is now part of the club’s and basketball’s recent history.
The club thanks him for his work, professionalism, effort, and dedication during this period, and wishes him the best of luck in his upcoming personal and sporting challenges.

Also, Montenegrin basketball player Bojan Dubljevic has ended his professional basketball career at the age of 34.
The experienced center last played for Zaragoza, where he helped the team secure survival in Spain’s Liga Endesa, after which he decided to retire from professional basketball.
