In the Russian Basketball League, UNICS was defeated at home in a derby by Zenit with a score of 75-82, allowing the guests to continue their impressive streak of six consecutive wins under new coach Dejan Radonjic.
The game started intensely on both sides. The home team managed to keep it close until halftime; however, the third quarter saw a complete collapse from UNICS, who allowed 31 points while scoring only 13 in those 10 minutes. Velimir Perasovic’s team tried to mount a comeback in the final quarter, but the advantage built by Zenit in the third quarter was enough to secure the victory.
