In the past few days, Barcelona has handed out departures to Nikola Kalinic and Pauli Oriola, with Oscar Da Silva being the third player to leave the team.
Although the power forward had a contract valid until 2025, the two sides mutually agreed to terminate the partnership. Oscar Da Silva arrived in Catalonia before the start of the 2022/2023 season, but his performances clearly did not meet expectations.
Last season, Da Silva averaged 3.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in just under 15 minutes of playing time in the EuroLeague. It remains unknown where Oscar Da Silva will continue his career.
In addition to these departures, Barcelona has appointed a new head coach, Joan Peñarroya, while their first and so far only player acquisition is Kevin Punter.
