Luka Doncic showed an excellent performance during the first 12 minutes of the game, giving the Dallas Mavericks a lead by 24:23. During the second quarter, the Cleveland Cavaliers outperformed their opponents, with Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell giving their team a double-digit lead. The brilliant Doncic managed to reduce his team’s deficit towards the end of the first half to 60:56.
The third quarter was evenly matched in terms of score – perhaps the Dallas Mavericks showed a better performance, but in the end, the Cleveland Cavaliers regained the lead with four consecutive points before the final 12 minutes of the game. During the fourth quarter, Jason Kidd‘s team played much better than their opponents and built a double-digit lead.
Max Strus hit four consecutive three-pointers towards the end, but with P.J. Washington‘s shot, the Dallas Mavericks took the lead with two seconds left in the game. Following that, an incredible half-court three-pointer by Max Strus sealed the win, which you can see in the video.

Donovan Mitchell finished the game as the top scorer for the Cleveland Cavaliers with 31 points, while Max Strus scored 21 points.
Luka Doncic was by far the best player for the Dallas Mavericks with 45 points, nine rebounds, and 14 assists.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are now second in the Eastern Conference standings with 38 wins and 19 losses. The Dallas Mavericks are eighth in the Western Conference standings with 33 wins and 25 losses.
