Darvin Ham wasn’t particularly pleased with Anthony Davis’ statement and emphasized that he disagrees with his viewpoint.
It’s been a tough period for the Los Angeles Lakers. They entered this year’s NBA playoffs with tremendous motivation, but in the first two games against the Denver Nuggets, they failed to secure a victory. The second loss was especially painful, considering they had a 20-point lead at one point in that game, only to be defeated in the end by Jamal Murray’s mid-range shot.
After the game, there was noticeable disappointment within the Lakers’ ranks, especially regarding Anthony Davis. The center responded very briefly during the media conference but also pointed out that it seems like his team doesn’t know what they’re doing on both ends of the court.
“I just think sometimes plays don’t turn out the way you think they should. The frustration sets in a little bit. But I don’t think it’s, for us, not being organized.
I think I have incredibly talented coaches all along my staff and we pride ourselves on, whether it’s a practice or shootaround, games, whatever, we pride ourselves on being highly efficient and organization. So I would just chalk that up to being frustrated, you know it’s an emotional game the way it ended and all of that. But I’ll agree to disagree on that one“, Darvin Ham said.
