Murcia won against Unicaja in Malaga in the fifth game of the Liga Endesa semifinal by 79:70, securing their place in the finals.
Unicaja started the game dominantly, quickly establishing a double-digit lead of 15:5. Murcia couldn’t offer enough resistance until the end of the first quarter, allowing Unicaja to capitalize and go into the first break with an 11-point lead (25:14). In the second quarter, Murcia limited the home team to just seven points, bringing the halftime score to a narrow deficit of only one point (32:31).
Murcia was the superior team on the court in both the third and fourth quarters. With five minutes left in the game, Unicaja held a three-point lead, but failed to score any points for the remainder of the match. Meanwhile, Murcia went on a 12:0 run and deservedly won the game.
Kendrick Perry stood out for Unicaja with 14 points, while Dylan Ennis was the top scorer for Murcia with 19 points.
The final series between Real Madrid and Murcia begins on June 9th.
