Partizan is going purple for prematurely born babies! In the 7th round of the ABA League, facing Igokea, the black and whites will become black and purple.
This change in colors is a symbol of support for prematurely born babies, signifying the incubator’s purple light where premature infants spend their first days.
Partizan is conducting this initiative in collaboration with the Association of Parents of Prematurely Born Children in Serbia – MALI DIV, to mark World Prematurity Day (November 17).

Globally, 15 million babies are born prematurely each year, which accounts for around 10% of all births. In Serbia, approximately 4,000 babies are born prematurely each year, roughly 11 babies per day. Some of these infants weigh less than 1000 grams at birth – that’s smaller than a packet of sugar.
Despite the significant number of premature births, there is very little public awareness about preventing premature birtXJhs, the issues and risks in the development of prematurely born babies, and the challenges their families face.
Therefore, the MALI DIV Association and BC Partizan are raising awareness about this issue.
